Be warned : There are no photos in this post just a lot of words. I simply felt like telling a story so for those who can't or find it really really strenuous to read the English language, please turn away now. This is not your place.
It all began a long long time ago when I picked up a book entitled, "Making Money Out Of Thin Air". It was then I got hooked on the idea of "making money" so I picked up another book after that entitled, "Think Lazy Grow Rich". That was when I was 16 and no I'm not making up these titles they really exist somewhere out there. And I specifically selected these books because of their very attractive titles.
In the present day, I find myself torn between many many contingency plans. First of which is the most rewarding, rewarding in the eyes of my family, my girlfriend and the rest of the world. This option requires me to complete my A level studies and advance to the next tier known as University. There is a catch however, as not any University will do, I must be accepted into a GOOD University. To all you teenagers out there who are just about to enroll into a University, I feel you. Good Uni, must get good grades, need lots of co-curricular, good life maturity, good track records and the works.
Bloody just ain't worth it is it?
Listen to me people, I'm going to work and toil and struggle in school so that I can be prepared to work, that is to work and toil and struggle. Man, that is a pretty sucky life in my opinion.
They talk of options, options where to work who wants me and what I can do for my future... UNDER someone else. I'll tell you this, I'm going to be that "someone else" and find other university graduates to work FOR me. Ah, so I'm giving them the options... works for me.! =P
OR the other more simpler way is this, when you teachers go emo on you, when life and school just seems so pointless sometimes, I did something, rather I create it. An Idea. Contingency plan C I call it. So lets say, after this year in High School, the Singapore Casino has probably been completed.
Yeah... sounds good I've just bought myself a book on poker, giving me good reads, tips and strategies. Hows about I forego all the pointless insanity I'd be facing in the next years to come and instead put my skill and intelligence into poker.
I'm sure I'd be enjoying myself, and making a little side money, or full time to be exact.
Honestly friends, school really is pointless in my opinion, I'm learning dag shit that I won't be using ever again. Poisson distribution? Oh please... Tell me, has anyone apart from me really thought this out? I'm growing closer and closer to contingency C everyday. And It always feels good. =P
